In 1999, the the club's name was again changed to Asokwa Royals Football Club(FC) at the colts level. Whiles the team was still participating in the competition, the founder of the club decided to form a senior side team and when the senior team was formed he named it Asokwa Deportivo Sporting Club. In 2001 the club started participating in the third division league for two years and they qualified to the second division league does, 2003. In the last final game of the division three league, the club needed a win to qualify to the division two levels and Kwadwo Asamoah (Now in Europe playing Juventus, Italy) made it simple for the club by banging in a four straight clean goals and at the end of the match, it was 4-1 in favour of Asokwa Deportivo Sporting Club.
In the division two league the club stayed there for six years and in August 2009, they got the ticket to compete in the Division one league where the club is currently playing.
